South Korea started their World Cup games with a great win against the Czech Republic in Guadalajara. The team came from one goal down to win the match two to one. Local Mexican fans joined the South Korean supporters in the stadium to celebrate the victory. With this win, South Korea now has three points in Group A. They are tied at the top of the group with Mexico. Earlier, Mexico beat South Africa two to zero in the first game of the tournament in Mexico City. South Africa finished that match with only nine players on the field. Both South Korea and Mexico now have three points, while the Czech Republic and South Africa have zero points after their first games.
