Canada score six but historic win marred by Kone injury -

Canada made history by winning their first ever match at the World Cup, but a bad injury to Ismael Kone ruined the party. Canada beat Qatar six to zero in an easy game. Qatar had two players sent off during the match. Even though Canada scored six goals, nobody was celebrating after the final whistle. Canada manager Jesse Marsch was crying because Kone looked very badly hurt. It was a sad end to what should have been a very happy day for the team. Canada played great football, but the coach and the players are now only thinking about their teammate. This historic win feels much smaller now because of the sad news.
