Manchester United have reached an advanced agreement to sign experienced Wales international goalkeeper Karl Darlow on a free transfer following his departure from Leeds United.

Manchester United are on the verge of finalizing a three-year contract with free-agent goalkeeper Karl Darlow to bolster their squad depth ahead of the upcoming campaign.

The 35-year-old Welsh international recently parted ways with Leeds United following the expiration of his contract at Elland Road. Darlow is expected to sign a deal keeping him at Old Trafford until 2029.

The seasoned shot-stopper arrives to provide reliable backup and competition for emerging number-one Senne Lammens. His imminent arrival paves the way for Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir to leave the club.

Bayindir is currently evaluating several offers from overseas clubs in pursuit of regular first-team football after failing to secure a starting spot.
