Papers: PSG value Barcola at £145m amid Liverpool and Arsenal interest

Published Entry Strategy Track — 27-JUL-2026

Paris Saint-Germain have put a massive price tag on their young star Bradley Barcola. According to the latest transfer rumors, the French champions value the winger at a staggering one hundred and forty-five million pounds. This huge valuation comes at a time when Premier League giants Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly showing strong interest in signing him. At just twenty-two years old, Barcola has quickly become one of the most exciting young talents in European football, which explains why PSG want to protect their asset.

For Liverpool and Arsenal, the interest makes perfect sense. Both clubs are looking for top-class attacking players to improve their squads and compete at the highest level. Arsenal want to add more depth and speed to their frontline to help their title charge. Liverpool, on the other hand, are planning for the future and need long-term options in their forward line. Barcola’s pace, direct running, and eye for goal make him an ideal fit for both Mikel Arteta and Arne Slot.

However, PSG are in no hurry to sell. After losing Kylian Mbappe, the French club has made Barcola a central figure in their new, younger team. He has stepped up brilliantly this season, scoring regularly and proving he can handle the pressure of being a key player in Paris. By setting such a high price tag, PSG are sending a clear warning to the rest of Europe. They do not need the money, and they want to keep their best players to build a winning project.

It is highly unlikely that either Liverpool or Arsenal will pay that much money soon. Spending nearly one hundred and fifty million pounds on one player is a massive risk, even for the richest clubs in England. For now, this huge valuation will probably keep the English clubs at bay. Still, the interest shows how highly regarded Barcola is. If he keeps performing at this level, the Premier League giants will definitely keep watching.
