See the rare history Danny Welbeck could make after completing Chelsea move
Danny Welbeck is poised to make Premier League history after completing his move to Chelsea on a two-year deal.
Danny Welbeck has completed a permanent move from Brighton & Hove Albion to Chelsea on a two-year contract, giving the experienced forward the chance to achieve a unique Premier League milestone.
The 35-year-old joins Xabi Alonso’s squad after scoring 14 goals in all competitions last season and bringing more than 400 top-flight appearances to Stamford Bridge.
When Welbeck makes his Premier League debut for Chelsea, he will become the first player to feature in the competition for Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea.
The England international previously won the Premier League with his boyhood club Manchester United before spending five seasons at Arsenal, where he won the FA Cup in 2014.
His Chelsea switch now puts him on the verge of an unprecedented record spanning three of English football’s biggest clubs.
