Roc Nation has strongly defended its representation of Yan Diomande against “fake and damaging” media reports following a CAS complaint filed by the player’s former agent, Max Gradel, over an alleged breach of contract.
Roc Nation has issued a fierce defense of its operations following mounting speculation surrounding young Ivorian star Yan Diomande.
The agency, which counts high-profile names like Vinícius Júnior among its clientele, strongly condemned what it termed fake and damaging information propagated by sections of the media.
The controversy stems from Diomande’s high-profile agency switch earlier this year. The 19-year-old winger parted ways with Maxidel Management, a representation firm co-founded by Ivory Coast legend Max Gradel, to sign with Roc Nation.
In response, Gradel’s camp lodged a formal complaint with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), alleging that Diomande breached an active, exclusive representation contract.
At the core of the friction are complex financial angles, including future transfer commissions and lucrative image rights management.
Diomande has separately faced contractual scrutiny regarding his intellectual property and commercial representation from early-career stakeholders.
Despite the legal cloud and intensifying chatter over his club future, Roc Nation’s leadership has drawn a hard line, criticizing the spread of ungrounded narratives that personally target their talent.
