Bradley Barcola joins Liverpool in £123m deal from PSG
Liverpool have completed the signing of France winger Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain in a deal worth up to £123 million.
Liverpool have completed the signing of Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain, securing one of the biggest transfers of the summer as new manager Andoni Iraola continues to reshape the club’s attack.
The France international has signed a five-year contract after Liverpool agreed an initial £106 million fee with PSG, with the overall package potentially rising to £123 million through additional payments.
The 23-year-old arrives at Anfield after three seasons in Paris, where he developed into an important attacking player and helped the French giants claim major domestic and European honours.
Barcola made 152 appearances for PSG, scoring 39 goals and supplying 35 assists, while his pace, dribbling ability and versatility allow him to operate from either flank or through the centre.
His arrival represents a significant investment in Liverpool’s new-look forward line, particularly following the departure of Mohamed Salah and the club’s desire to add greater attacking depth.
Barcola has chosen the No.29 shirt and becomes one of Liverpool’s most expensive signings, with only Alexander Isak costing more in the club’s transfer history.
His move also follows the arrivals of other young players as Liverpool attempt to build a squad capable of competing at the highest level for years to come.
Barcola’s development began at Lyon, where he broke into the senior team before earning his move to PSG in 2023, and he has since established himself as a France international. He was also part of France’s 2026 World Cup squad.
Liverpool are still looking to strengthen their squad before the transfer window closes, with reports indicating that another wide attacker could be pursued.
For Barcola, however, the immediate challenge will be adapting to English football and helping Liverpool convert their substantial investment into goals, assists and silverware.
