Chelsea snub 26m offer for wantaway defender
Chelsea have turned down a twenty-six million pound bid from Italian club Como for defender Trevoh Chalobah. According to sports reporter Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League club decided not to accept the offer for the young defender. Chalobah is looking to leave Chelsea this summer to get more playing time elsewhere. He has been trained by the club since he was a boy but is now ready for a new challenge. Even though Chelsea want to sell him, they believe the current offer is too low. Como, who are now playing in the top Italian league, want to bring the player to Italy. It remains to be seen if Como will make a higher bid or if other teams will try to sign him before the transfer window closes. For now, Chalobah stays at Chelsea.
