McInnes glad of Rangers backing in appeal against ban

Rangers manager Derek McInnes is happy that his club is supporting him. The club is fighting a four-game ban given to the manager. This ban started after a match in May. In that game, Celtic got a late penalty against Motherwell. McInnes was very angry about the decision. He called the penalty choice disgusting. Because of those words, football leaders banned him from the touchline for four games. McInnes says that Rangers are doing the right thing by trying to stop this punishment. He thinks the ban is too harsh and wants to stand by his players during matches. The club hopes to win the appeal so their manager can return to his normal job on the sidelines quickly.
