Thomas Tuchel urges England to improve defence against Ghana after ‘wake-up call’
England manager Thomas Tuchel wants his team to defend much better in their next match against Ghana. England won their first World Cup game against Croatia 4-2, but Tuchel says that match was a wake-up call. He felt his players dropped too deep into their own half during the first part of the game. He wants them to play aggressive football instead. England play Ghana in Boston on Tuesday night. If England win this match, they will qualify for the next round of the tournament. They could also finish top of their group if Panama fail to beat Croatia in the later game. Tuchel warns his players not to take anything for granted. He wants them to stay focused and fix their defense to get the win.
