REVEALED: The Man City clause forcing Ferran Torres out of Barcelona

Barcelona are open to selling Ferran Torres this summer as extending his contract would reportedly trigger an additional payment of around €8 million to Manchester City.

Barcelona are prepared to listen to offers for Ferran Torres this summer as a contract clause linked to his 2022 move from Manchester City threatens to increase the cost of keeping the Spain forward.

Torres, whose current deal runs until June 2027, has yet to agree fresh terms, with any extension reportedly triggering an extra €7-8 million payment to City.

Activating the renewal clause would push the overall transfer fee to about €73 million, prompting the Catalan club to consider a sale instead.

Paris Saint-Germain have been strongly linked with Torres, while Barcelona continue balancing their transfer plans with ongoing financial constraints.
