High Court freezes £2.5m of Mykhailo Mudryk’s assets in fresh legal dispute

Mykhailo Mudryk has had £2.5 million of his assets frozen and faces spending restrictions while a multimillion-pound image rights dispute is investigated.

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has had £2.5 million across his bank accounts and other assets frozen by the High Court in London as part of an ongoing legal dispute over an image rights agreement reportedly worth more than £6 million.

The lawsuit alleges the Ukraine international breached a commercial rights contract, with his agent and Chelsea also named in the proceedings.

According to reports from Sport-Express, cited by multiple outlets, the court has limited Mudryk to spending £5,000 per week while the case is under investigation and has ordered him to provide evidence of his income sources.

The legal challenge comes while the 25-year-old continues to deal with his ongoing doping suspension, which remains subject to appeal.
