Chelsea sign veteran midfielder Jordan Henderson on a two-year deal

Jordan Henderson has completed a two-year move to Chelsea after leaving Brentford by mutual consent.

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of England midfielder Jordan Henderson on a two-year contract after his departure from Brentford F.C. by mutual consent.

The 36-year-old said the chance to work under manager Xabi Alonso and join Chelsea was an opportunity he could not refuse.

Henderson arrives with a decorated career that includes Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Club World Cup success during his time at Liverpool F.C..

Chelsea’s latest addition becomes the club’s 10th signing of the summer as Alonso continues reshaping the squad ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
