Djed Spence to Undergo Inter Medical After Deal Agreed With Tottenham
Djed Spence is set for his Inter medical today after a deal was agreed with Tottenham yesterday.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed a €31.5m fixed fee, with the full package (add-ons included) rising toward €35m per Sky Sport, plus a 10% resale clause.
Spence has signed off personally, with Spurs authorising his travel and he landed in Milano in the early hours of today.
The fee is a big drop from Tottenham’s initial €45m demand, made after Spence’s standout World Cup with England.
With Pedro Porro entrenched at right-back and competition on the left, regular football looked unlikely, his exit follows Cristian Romero’s departure to Atletico as part of a wider Spurs squad turnover.
He fills Inter’s right-back gap left by Denzel Dumfries’s Real Madrid move, reuniting with England teammate John Stones.
With the medical set and paperwork exchanged, the move is close to being finalised.
