Raya’s latest achievement further underlines the consistency that has made him such an important part of Mikel Arteta’s side since arriving from Brentford.

The goalkeeper was again protected by an organised Arsenal defence at Villa Park as the Gunners secured their third consecutive league victory without conceding.
