Cucurella sends message to Enzo Fernandez – Chelsea fans won’t be happy
Newly signed Real Madrid defender Marc Cucurella has expressed his desire for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández to join him at the Santiago Bernabéu following his own €55 million transfer to Spain.
Marc Cucurella has publicly backed his former Chelsea teammate Enzo Fernández to secure a sensational summer transfer to Real Madrid.
Speaking after finalizing his own €55 million move to the Spanish giants, the left-back revealed that the Argentine midfielder had congratulated him on the switch.
Cucurella expressed hope that Fernández would soon follow, uniting the pair under newly appointed manager José Mourinho.
However, a potential reunion remains complicated by Chelsea’s hefty £120 million valuation of Fernández, who is currently under contract until 2032.
While Mourinho has reportedly prioritized the 25-year-old midfielder to dictate play, Real Madrid must first sanction major player sales to fund the transfer.
Consequently, any formal approach relies on offloading stars like Fede Valverde or Aurélien Tchouaméni.
