The ongoing federal inquiry seeks to determine whether the South American football body violated United States banking and corporate legislation.
While AFA President Claudio Tapia remains in North America overseeing Argentina’s tournament campaign, judicial officials emphasized that no formal criminal charges have been filed. The high-stakes case currently remains focused on gathering evidence and identifying potential regulatory non-compliance.
