JJ Gabriel left Man United fans one word message after being left on the bench vs. Rosenborg
Manchester United wonderkid JJ Gabriel reacted maturely to missing out on the pitch during his side’s pre-season win over Rosenborg.
Teenage prodigy JJ Gabriel displayed admirable maturity after being named an unused substitute in Manchester United’s 5-0 pre-season victory over Rosenborg in Trondheim.
Following his inclusion in the 25-man traveling squad by Michael Carrick, the 15-year-old took to social media to share a photo of his dressing room kit accompanied by the single word: “patience.”
The young forward, who netted 29 goals across the under-18s and FA Youth Cup last term, traveled to gain valuable senior experience.
According to the Manchester Evening News, United plan to manage his development carefully, with a competitive debut likely targeted for cup fixtures as preparations continue ahead of their upcoming friendly against Atletico Madrid.
