Nigerian sensation Daniel Daga cleared of all criminal charges after appeal victory
Nigerian midfielder Daniel Daga has been unanimously acquitted of all criminal charges by the Frostating Court of Appeal, clearing him to return to action for Norwegian club Molde FK immediately.
Molde FK midfielder Daniel Daga has successfully won his legal appeal, resulting in a unanimous acquittal from all criminal charges by the Frostating Court of Appeal.
The 19-year-old Nigerian international had previously faced a severe setback after a lower district court handed him a six-month prison sentence in March.
Daga maintained his complete innocence throughout the challenging legal ordeal. Following the highly anticipated appellate verdict, Molde FK released an official statement confirming the young player’s immediate reinstatement to the first-team squad.
The Eliteserien club announced that Daga is fully available for match selection moving forward. While the formal closing procedures of the case finalize, the cleared midfielder can finally refocus on his professional football career in Norway.
