ByKehinde-Hassan Afolabi

The Premier League has confirmed the refereeing appointments for Matchweek 6, including Stuart Attwell for Manchester United’s clash with Tottenham and Chris Kavanagh for Liverpool against Manchester City.

The Premier League returns this weekend after the international break, with clubs preparing to welcome back players who have been away representing their countries.

Managers will face the immediate challenge of assessing the fitness of returning internationals, particularly those involved in competitive fixtures just days before club football resumes.

The return of key players could have a major influence on Matchweek 6, with several teams relying heavily on their international stars.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City are among the clubs heading into important fixtures, while the physical condition and travel schedules of their returning players could shape team selections.
