Here We Go! Frattesi to Lazio as Inter Secure Major Sell-On Stake
Lazio have agreed a deal to sign Davide Frattesi from Inter, a €1m loan with a €14m buy option.
The deal becomes mandatory only if two conditions are met: an undisclosed appearance threshold and Lazio finishing Serie A’s top 10 and Inter also keep a 50% sell-on clause.
It’s a steep discount from Inter’s earlier €30m valuation, reflecting Frattesi’s fading role behind Calhanoglu, Barella, Mkhitaryan and now Petar Sucic in Cristian Chivu’s midfield.
He joined Inter from Sassuolo in 2023 for €35m and made 122 appearances (15 goals, 12 assists), mostly off the bench.
Frattesi is expected in Rome on Friday for his medical, with a signing to follow the same day, giving him the regular football he needs under new manager Gennaro Gattuso.
