Real Madrid retains World’s Most Valuable Football brand crown as Arsenal moves from 8th to 3rd
Real Madrid have strengthened their position as football’s leading global brand, with their latest valuation highlighting the club’s extraordinary commercial power.
Real Madrid have further strengthened their status as football’s leading global brand after recording another significant rise in their commercial valuation.
The Spanish giants have retained first place in the latest Brand Finance Football 50 ranking, with their brand now valued at €2.4 billion, a 25 per cent increase on the previous assessment.
Their strength score of 95.8 out of 100 also puts them at the summit among the 281 clubs analysed, underlining the combination of worldwide support, sporting history, commercial partnerships and global recognition behind their position.
Barcelona remain closest among the traditional European giants, with their brand approaching the €2 billion mark, while Arsenal have made one of the biggest advances among elite clubs after climbing to third with a €1.5 billion valuation.
Bayern Munich occupy fourth place, also reaching €1.5 billion, while Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United follow in the leading group. Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund complete the top 10.
Real Madrid’s commercial strength is consistent with their wider financial dominance. Deloitte’s latest Football Money League also placed the club at the top of European football by revenue, with Madrid generating almost €1.2 billion during the 2024-25 season.
The figures underline how the club has turned its sporting reputation, global audience and stadium investment into a powerful financial engine. Forbes has likewise continued to rank Real Madrid as football’s most valuable club, showing that their dominance extends beyond brand measurement alone.
With Barcelona, Arsenal and several Premier League giants increasing their commercial strength, competition at the top of football’s financial hierarchy is intensifying, but Real Madrid remain firmly ahead.
