Barcelona reaches historic €1 Billion revenue milestone
Barcelona have surpassed €1 billion in revenue for the first time, highlighting the club’s improving financial position despite operating under stadium restrictions.
Barcelona have crossed the €1 billion revenue mark for the first time in their history, delivering a landmark financial result that further underlines the club’s recovery off the pitch.
The Catalan giants confirmed that their accounts for the 2025/26 season produced positive ordinary results for a third consecutive year, while income reached a record level despite the club not having full access to the Spotify Camp Nou throughout the campaign.
Stadium operations were the biggest contributor to the increase, with Barcelona hosting some matches at the Estadi Johan Cruyff and Estadi Olímpic and operating Camp Nou at a reduced capacity of 42,000 for other fixtures.
The achievement is particularly significant because the club had budgeted to begin the season at Camp Nou with more than 60,000 spectators.
Barcelona also credited stronger sponsorship income and record merchandise turnover through Barça Licensing & Merchandising for helping push revenue beyond the billion-euro threshold.
The result comes as the club continues its efforts to rebuild its finances following several difficult years.
Barcelona had already recorded €994 million in ordinary revenue during the previous season, meaning the latest figure represents another step forward.
The club’s improving commercial performance has also been supported by the return to Camp Nou, with the stadium expected to become an even larger source of income as more areas become operational.
Barcelona’s board will present the full financial results to members at the Ordinary General Assembly later this month. The milestone gives president Joan Laporta’s administration another positive financial headline, although the club still faces major commitments linked to the Camp Nou redevelopment and wider Espai Barça project.
For now, however, exceeding €1 billion in annual revenue represents a significant marker in Barcelona’s financial recovery and strengthens expectations that the fully operational stadium could generate even greater income in future seasons.
