Dusan Vlahović agrees 3-year Besiktas move and Vincenzo Italiano reunion
Serbia striker Dušan Vlahović has agreed a three-year contract with Turkish side Beşiktaş and is set to reunite with former Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano.
Dušan Vlahović has agreed a three-year contract with Beşiktaş after leaving Juventus, and becoming a free agent earlier in the summer transfer window.
The Serbia striker is set to begin a new chapter in Turkey after months of uncertainty surrounding his future following his departure from the Italian giants.
The 26-year-old will reunite with Vincenzo Italiano, the coach who oversaw his breakthrough at Fiorentina. Their previous relationship played a significant role in Vlahović’s development before Juventus paid €75 million to sign him in 2022.
Vlahović is reportedly set to earn €8 million net per season at Beşiktaş, with additional bonuses. Reports also indicate a potential signing-on payment worth between €15 million and €20 million.
The move gives Vlahović an opportunity to rebuild his career after an inconsistent Juventus spell affected by injuries.
Beşiktaş will hope the Serbian striker can rediscover his best form under Italiano and become a key figure in their Süper Lig campaign.
