The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has formally endorsed Gianni Infantino’s candidacy for re-election as FIFA President at the upcoming 77th FIFA Congress in 2027, pledging exclusive support to the incumbent.

The NFF clarified that it will not sign any other declaration of support for opposing candidates. This exclusive pledge reinforces Infantino’s strong political ties within Africa, where confederation members unanimously resolved to support his candidacy.

The 77th FIFA Congress, hosting the vote, is scheduled to take place in Morocco next year, highlighting Africa’s growing institutional influence.
