Official: Lucas Digne Completes Return to PSG From Aston Villa
Lucas Digne has officially completed his move to PSG from Aston Villa, with both clubs confirming the transfer.
It’s a release-clause deal reported at around €10m and Digne has signed through June 2029, reuniting with Luis Enrique.
He’ll compete with/back up Nuno Mendes at left-back, with Lucas Hernandez shifting into a more central role, and it’s a genuine homecoming, since Digne is Paris-born and previously played for PSG between 2013-2015.
He leaves Villa having made 182 appearances, 4 goals and 24 assists since 2022, departing on the back of a Europa League win and a France World Cup semi-final run. PSG and Villa are set to meet in the UEFA Super Cup soon, giving Digne an early reunion with his old club.
