Pep Guardiola sends message to Man City loyalists after guilty verdict
Pep Guardiola has broken his silence following Manchester City’s guilty verdict over breaches of the Premier League’s financial regulations, sending a strong message of support to the club and its supporters.
Guardiola, who left City at the end of last season, made it clear that his departure has not changed his connection with the club.
“I want every single Man City fan to know I am here; more than ever,” Guardiola wrote.
He added that he remains behind the club’s owner, chairman, CEO Ferran Soriano, players, staff, Enzo and the supporters.
“Let me be clear: we will get through this together. I love you all,” he concluded.
The message comes after an independent commission found City guilty of serious financial breaches. The club has rejected the findings and is expected to appeal.
Pep Guardiola’s comments underline his continued support for City as the club prepares for the next stage of the case.
