Salisu Yusuf set to be appointed as new Kano Pillars coach
Nigeria Premier Football League club Kano Pillars have appointed veteran manager Salisu Yusuf as their new head coach, marking his return to the club he previously led to domestic success.
Kano Pillars have officially finalized the appointment of Salisu Yusuf as their new head coach.
The experienced Nigerian tactician returns to the Sai Masu Gida following a mutual contract termination with Beninese club Coton Sport, whom he recently guided to a continental qualification place.
The move brings his wealth of regional experience back into the top tier of domestic football.
Yusuf is immensely familiar with the setup in Kano, having previously served the club as Chief Coach, Technical Adviser, and Head Coach.
Notably, his historic early tenure saw him lead the club to their first-ever league championship title. Management hopes his homecoming will stabilize and revitalize the team’s tactical structure ahead of a grueling upcoming league campaign.
